Week 6 begins in less than half an hour and there have been no statements as to what to expect from the defense or prosecution.

That's not true.

The defense said that they have 2 more experts to go and could be done today. The state was less committal on how many rebuttal witnesses they have, but Waters "didn't plan on too many."

The defense was targeting Wednesday for closing arguments.

Thank you for the correction, I had searched 24 hour and latest hour and found nothing.

Has the prosecution said what they may do?

On Friday, Waters was non-committal about how long/how many witnesses he would have for rebuttal. But he said he didn't expect it to be extensive.

No correction was added. It is all good. I was watching the Law & Crime video of LIVE events & they started talking about the blue tarp then the trial started and I never heard the rest about the blue tarp...

Something about it being used to carry the weapons? Or not?

I like the Law & Crime video because they split the screen to show AM while the witness talks.

I have heard Wednesday as final arguments as well. But nothing set in stone.

Did the defense’s crime scene guy who testified last week base all his conclusions on the original ME’s trajectory determinations?

At times, he's done that a lot. He's impressive, he can start it and stop it on the dime. You can tell he's a very well practiced attorney. He knows EXACTLY what he's doing at every moment. I think he knows that the jury was crying when he was crying on his initial cross testimony. And I'm sure he has decided to exploit that during this testimony.

Watching AM's reaction to graphic autopsy details. Just when I think maybe he didn't pull the trigger, or pay someone to kill his wife & son...

I recall the testimony I read about him embezzling money from a deaf quadriplegic.

So this is all a mystery.

LOL - the defense tried to put a page from a textbook into evidence. Objection by the state.

The defense then read a page from the rules of evidence that eventually said something of this nature could not be added as an exhibit.

So...the witness will just draw what the page of the book shows as long as he agrees with it.

He was but the trial was supposed to end 2+ weeks ago. Nick had other things scheduled (like his Vegas show last weekend).

How can anyone who loved their wife and son listen to this testimony without breaking down?

I would be a blubbering mess.

So let me get this all straight

The Murdaugh family has made folks disappear in the past, Buster allegedly killed a guy and dumped them. The boat accident by the younger son, the mom and younger son killed at the hunting lodge. Father is on trial for that murder, but they are not sure there is blood evidence etc. But the type of weapons used to kill them were owned by the family. The family is big names in the Low Country.

Sounds like a movie or a Matlock episode.

You left off the part about the housekeeper possibly being murdered one month after he took out a $10MM commercial umbrella insurance policy on the property where she died. Then he sued “himself” on behalf of the housekeeper’s family, won a settlement, but pocketed said settlement for himself.

Don't lforget. He told the dead housekeepers sons at her funeral to sue him and provided them a lawyer (his best friend) to sue him.

He made sure that it was said she wasn't working that day because then it would have been workman's comp. Then he stole millions and never told them they won in settlement

Her injuries were way beyond hitting her head hard on the brick stairs going up to his house. The dogs tripped her? Probably the same dog Bubba that tripped him up in this court case and placed him at the scene of the murders.

Ditto all of the above regarding embezzling money from a deaf quadriplegic client.

And Paw Paw being a binge drinking alter ego Timmy- driving a 17 foot boot at night with no lights-drunk--by flashlight killing a girl.

Imagine not finding her body for what was it 7 days?

And the Satterfield boys lost their trailer to foreclosure, the slower son had to move in with family and the sharper witted son kept thinking that Alex Murdaugh was their friend.
