I have entertained the rumor that Randy Murdaugh may be involved in Stephen's murder.

Thanks, Nancy Drew. We’re so thrilled to get your input.

They auctioned everything at Moselle. Imagine bidding on the sofa that Ellick napped on for a minute.

I can’t believe this thing may go through another trial.
I wonder if Alec can turn on the waterworks like in the first trial? Nevermind, I know he can

It’s astonishing to me that in the days and weeks after the murders, he didn’t even make an attempt (for show) to pursue the “real” killer. The testimony that he never mentioned finding the killers afterwards or did anything in that regard was very telling. Maybe pure hubris?
The evidence was strong, but you never know with juries, maybe if he’d hired a PI and/or made some other efforts to investigate it may have been enough to plant a seed of reasonable doubt.
That was a crazy trial to go through.

Thought he would have caught a shank in prison by now.

Murdaugh just pled guilty to 100 addtional financial crimes. (He had a guilty plea on twenty some several weeks ago.)

The suggestion that 27 years is enough for nine million in financial crimes ....that's three years per million. Makes our church embezzlers seem poor as church mice.

My own question, that will never be answered, is how is the best South Carolina lawyer, aka Harpootlian, being paid for the thousands of hours he's put into this case in addition to the supporting hours of the rest of his law firm?

Murdaugh agreed to plead guilty to more than a dozen counts, including money laundering, breach of trust and financial fraud, in exchange for a 27-year sentence.

So that would put him at roughly 82 when he gets out.

I guess he's challenging the murder convictions just because he has nothing better to do?
