Des Moines has a system of "skywalks" that connect most every building downtown so you don't have to go outside in winter.

when I moved to baton rouge 25 years ago there wasnt a loop, crime sucked, and traffic was horrendous

Andrew Jackson....the namesake of Jacksonville....never came to present day Jacksonville. The closest he got was just east of Tallahassee.

Jacksonville also has a series of tunnels between old bank buildings...used to move money around
