Moreover, about 1 in 5 consumers will only have plans from a single insurer to pick from, after major national carriers such as UnitedHealth Group, Humana and Aetna scaled back their roles.

i got my letter from Humana a week ago saying my plan (Which is expensive af) is no longer going to be available

my insurance premiums have gone up almost 5x since the law was passed

my deductibles have gone up 3-4x the same

This has screwed me over and I used to have everything a plush plan paid for mostly by the company. Low deductible, 20 copay, and 27 bucks per month premium. Now, deductibles went up, copay is basically go eat and replaced with 20% pay, and I pay 90+ bucks each paycheck (bimonthly).

I have had health care through work(one job or another) for over 25+++ years, and have not used it one time in past 17 years.

I just recently had to get on my wifes plan, because the company i'm with now, health prices literally tripled.

I'm like what??? I haven't used this shite, health like an OX, and i get fricked??? This is not Healthcare Reform.

Elections have consequences. The american public was dumb enough to not only vote in Obama, but give the democrats a majority in congress. This thing is an absolute mess.

The largest hospital and health care provider in N. MS will no longer accept United Healthcare.

"In April, North Mississippi Health Services noticed electronic reimbursements were coming across as paid, but at $0 for some United Healthcare subscribers. When the two companies failed to resolve the issue by the end of September, the Tupelo-based system publicly announced plans to terminate its provider agreement with the insurer for 2017."

Ask a Democrat about why Obamacare sucks so bad. I guarantee you that to a man they will tell you it was because the House Democrats had to make concessions to insurance companies so it could pass because of the evil Republicans. But what they won't say - what they may not even know - is that NOT A SINGLE REPUBLICAN IN EITHER HOUSE OF CONGRESS voted for this abomination. Yes, that's right, they blame Republicans for a law that was passed by a Democratic president with ZERO Republican yays in Congress,

That, my friends, is the kind of willful ignorance that the Democratic Party thrives off of. /rant

Why is it Obama's fault?

If you can't get in a group, where else are you going to go?

Health care costs, prescriptions, etc. - and health insurance - is going up regardless of Obama.

Each year, health care cost rise like 15% - not because of Obamacare but on their own.

How do you fix that?

The problem is Obamacare increased the rate Healthcare was going up. The democrats just bent the cost curve in a steeper incline.

He pushed through a massive healthcare bill. He owns the results .

O made it worse.

No individual mandate. Then insurers have to keep premiums down or people will tell them to get bent. You can keep guaranteed issue and protect the insurers by allowing protections such as condition-specific deductibles and benefit reduction penalties for being uninsured within the last three years.

Stop piling on "essential" coverage requirements. Let insurance be for unexpected catastrophic expenses.

Allow insurers to factor an individual's claims history into the premium. You can even keep the 3:1 ratio like they have for age. If it's fair to charge a person more because they were born a certain year, it's also fair to charge a person more for their medical history. Then people who don't use the medical system or who pay cash can catch a break.

Ugh.

You (and others who are being bled dry) might want to look into sharing ministries. Medishare, Christian Healthcare Ministries, and Liberty Healthshare are some of the ones out there.

Oddly enough today was Enrollment Day for 2017 at the workplace.

I pay currently around 200 bucks a month for coverage. Starting January I will pay 80 bucks total for Health, Dental, Vision, ADD, Life.

Coverage actually got better. Thanks United Health Care!

Until the new Count-in-Chief takes the oath of office in January of 2017.

I WAS actually looking forward to BHO's last day in office.

Now I'm not so sure.
