But if you are unemployed you can

Mine isn't a marketplace plan and I just received a letter stating that it will not be available in LA next year (Coventry/Aetna).

God damn people are stupid. I don't understand how the democrats can shove this down our throats and be in the Oval Office for at least 12 years.

This increase is happening. It's not a rumor.

Yes they are. Many don't understand the old saying "there is no such thing as a free lunch".

Except now they want free college too...

My effective tax rate is just around 27%.

I work for Nokia (A Global Company - Finland HQ)

We just literally bought out ALU (Alcatel-Lucent)

I am a Test and Validation Engineer. I make good money.

You must of missed the part where I said I currently pay 200 a month.

Sorry my company is Euro based so they actually care about their employees????

$80 a month eh?

You must not make much money

How is this related? I pay $55. Increasing to $65 per month. Not poor. Employer simply pays more of my premium.

Most of the rates are out. A lot of brokers are sitting on them to see if they can try to continue shopping the rates and see if there are better figures; but they are suppose to be available 90 days before renewal.

May also want to consider changing carriers and going through early adoption. We are changing our plan from Aetna (pulled out of LA for small companies anyway) to BCBS and switching to a 12/01 renewal date. This allows us to avoid the Jan 1st renewal increases as we will be locked in.

If my memory is correct, I believe BCBS in LA is expecting an 11% increase for 2017
