This is what we mean when we say ENFORCE THE LAWS ALREADY ON THE BOOKS.
Stop pleading down weapons charges for violent felons. Give them the toughest sentence you can on every single gun charge they get, every single time they get arrested for it. Enforce the fricking laws we already have. There is no need for new laws if we are unwilling or unable to enforce the laws we already have.

If I were a cop, I’d have my hand on my gun every single time I stopped a young black male. Especially if they have warrants. Seems like so many of these shootings are because the piece of shite has outstanding warrants and doesn’t want to get arrested so they decide to shoot it out.
