No worries. We took hugs, prayers, e-love, you name it through that ordeal. Seriously don't sweat the percentile thing. My SIL stresses with that over her kid. He's three and still in the 1%'ile. Some things just take time. Your kid seems loved, is gaining weight decently, and will get there eventually.

Thanks so much. You made me feel better.

My son is not even 10 months yet and he eats an entire grilled cheese sandwich. I guess every kid is different

My 6 yr old daughter has friends older than her who still aren't potty trained; mine did it in a weekend. But on the other hand we're still fighting the battle of her sleeping through the night in her own bed without wandering down the hall in the middle of the night to cuddle with mama.

Same here. Game changer was buying her a big girl bed where one of us could go sleep in her room instead of getting pushed out of our own bed. She makes 3 in two weeks and I’m putting the pressure on MrsWafer to keep her door closed at night until we break the changing bed habit.

We did BLW, both children never liked mashed things. Never had a jar of baby food. They ate beans, veggies, lots of fruit, fish, etc...whatever we ate.
At the 6 months when first trying food would try something mashed or pureed. Would not eat. The sweet potato that was mashed before, roasted in the oven with olive oil and salt and gave them small bites. Loved it. Whatever we ate gave them softer version of it like steam veggies instead of a little crunchy were soft, flaky white fish, etc..

I liked the idea of BLW, just wouldn't have worked for us. I'm a bit of a control freak and would not have trusted that with daycare. Plus BLW in the early months I don't think offers the calories he needed.

Go follow the Instagram page @feedinglittles it has been a good resource for me. Even just seeing screenshots of other kids meals and thinking “oh I should buy that at the store next time”
At 13 months old, my daughter lives on bananas, yogurt, pb&j sandwhiches, shredded cheese, and any kind of fruit. She would eat deli meat leading up to her first birthday but then started refusing it all of a sudden.

Thanks for the suggestion! I like to look at the websites of all those kid meal delivery services for ideas too. I'm just not paying $5 per meal for him.

My little girl liked fish at that age. It’s soft but also nutritious.

Puffs. Eventually move to making your own puree’s out of veggies. Eventually they will get there. The milk allergy sucks because every kid I’ve ever seen loves shredded cheese

My son is 11.5 months (10 months adjusted) and still loves his purees and puffs/crunchies. He is really struggling with the introduction of table food, he even hates mashed up things. Any suggestions on finger foods to introduce that your kid loved?
Then, at 1 year, he just snapped out of it and ate everything. I would like to tell you there was a program or steps we took, but honestly it just happened. Alot of things with kids are like that

Ours actually really likes Salmon and other fish, we started giving it around 12-13 months. Fish is soft, mild in flavor, and easy to mash. Best meat for babies hands down.

I love salmon... going to have to get some for myself and see if he'll eat it.

Put the food down and then put the foot down - if he eats then great. If not, sorry you're gonna be hungry. He's gotta figure out that when the food comes down you either eat it or you don't eat. You control what goes on the table, he controls what goes in the mouth.

My wife did baby led weaning, which is pretty much feed them anything thats not hard. My daughter now has no food aversions, Now that she is older we dont have to cut small pieces, Then and now she eats the same stuff we eat, so nothing extra to cook.

Rice and gray with some Bud Lite in a sippy cup. Mine moved on to boudin and crackers by 3.
When my youngest was about 1 he kept trying to take some boudin I was eating. Finally I gave him a bite thinking that would be the end of it. Little shite ate half the link

Stay away from salty and super sweet is what my wife's friends have all told us. They get basically addicted to that and won't other stuff.
My 5 month old just had his first nibbles of avocado and liked it. We're about to buy a steamer/puree machine so we can make all our own food.
I was told garlic is a good thing to mix in there, but never heard straight raw roasted garlic heads like GEAUXT said.
