I taught my kid to say "nom nom nom" every time he eats. My wife is not impressed.

Brother-in-law asked his daughter yesterday how home schooling was going at her house with the five and three year-olds. She said not too well. One has been suspended, one had been kicked out and the teacher has started drinking.

Yep had one that would open the dryer and piss into the dryer. Wife asked me what I was teaching him.

Congrats on the blissful ignorance of what you’re missing in life and the sudden realization of that missing piece of life five minutes before your lonely death.

Not sure the other hundreds of thousands of minutes with them makes it worth it, but we’ll see

My three year old has learned to meltdown during every interaction we have.

My 1.5 year old learned to spin around until he is dizzy and smash his head against a brick wall. The dude hurts himself every 15 minutes

I’ve thought about this during our quarantine. On one hand, it would be great to just lounge and watch movies or shows, play video games, workout here and there, have sex with the wife whenever, sleep in or stay up late, do whatever.

But one thing I can say about having kids in the house is that I haven’t gotten bored at all. Still have a strong sense of responsibility and purpose. The days are going by quickly and my relational bond with my kids are stronger than ever.

Some little bastard in our neighborhood was outside practicing the Trumpet about 5:30 yesterday afternoon. He/she needs a lot more practice.

I showed my 9, 7, and 3 yr old a multitude of Fat Bastard clips from Austin Powers on YouTube. 3 year old yells “get in my belly” at least 10 times a day.

My 2 year old learned about every line from The Sandlot. He repeatedly says “shut up porter” and “you play ball like a girl.”

But the best is when he runs around from his mom because he doesn’t want to take a nap and calls her “scab eater.”

I don't have kids, and yet, also not bored.

The wife made a big poster with their day broken down by the hour or half hour. Get dressed, eat, books, playtime, TV, on and on.

3 yr old took a marker and scratched through everything that wasn't TV time. Smart little frickers.
