Let’s get this straight.
Coursey Blvd
- yes, it is going down hill.
Restaurant with pool tables
- what could go wrong here
Black males beating white woman no one cares and the owner justifies it.
Shocking, sadly not really in today’s society.
I hate to say it.
What you are seeing now has always happened in the hood.
The hood is just coming closer to the middle class.
The social justice warriors have made this problem spread throughout cities.
Now if this would have happened downtown, mid city, or Southdowns the DA would have been out there with every EBRPSO deputy or BRPD officer on duty.
Golden rule if it is not in a good part of town or makes the news no one cares.
Heck they had female crackhead fights in the street off North Sherwood almost every weekend. I use to pull up a lawn chair with my neighbors and watch the free comedy show.
You son just learned a valuable life’s lesson in the sketchy parts of town.
Don’t say anything, look the other way, and move on to save your a$$.
The Will Smith incident at the Oscars has opened the door for this to be acceptable behavior.

The owner's behavior extends and enforces racism. My 12 year old's young mind cannot make sense of why a lady can be beaten with a pool cue in an establishment with no repercussions for the people that were beating her.

Tiger Paw is NOT normally a bad place, and yes the food is decent. They host pool league games, too. I go for lunch sometimes and someone is ALWAYS eating there, regardless of what the alkie day drinker said.
That being said I am shocked the owner didn’t call the cops. Only reason he may not have was because of the trash that lives in those apartments behind it. He may have been afraid of retaliation.

It’s highly possible that they are regulars and this is typical behavior and the owner is used to it happening and she is known for being an instigator.
Definitely not condoning any of the behavior. Just providing a different perspective. No one in this post knows what led up to the incident.
