It was 1.75 on New year's Eve. Now it's 2.79.

Good! I prefer when gas is really cheap. That way everyone can afford it and families get to cut down on a re-occurring expense.
Now they can stimulate the economy by saving the extra $40-$50 a week and turning it into discretionary spending!
