I took video and what should have been perfectly clear was grainy AF.
Now I know where Apple got that tech.

Just curious what time it was? Like dusk? Normally when these types of things are discussed, it's at night time. It would seem unusual for a guy to be using a push mower in the dark?
It was late afternoon with the sun setting but still light. We often thought maybe it was government top secret stuff, but would be ballsy to fly it during the day…

I’ve seen the tic tacs on personal video from an air show. Aligned my video and the timing with other videos from same air show. Whatever I saw flashing past was out there in the distance. Wasn’t a bug.
There’s a lot we don’t know.

Just once and it has stuck with me ever since.
This was a few years ago in southern New Mexico.
I was driving to work around 4:30am. It’s still pitch black outside in the sky.
I pull up to a red light on the outskirts of a town and am sitting waiting for it to turn green.
I see a solid, not blinking, light in the sky in the distance and it’s moving in my direction. I think nothing of it, as there are multiple military bases in the 150 mile radius around me and we see helicopters and planes at all hours of the day and night.
But this was neither.
The light continues to move towards me at a good pace, and not very high up. It’s at helicopter altitude.
I roll my window down as it approaches because I’m trying to figure out what the hell it is.
It gets directly overhead me and stops, it’s silent and it’s the light is a glowing orange-ish color.
After sitting in the sky over me for a few seconds, it accelerates away from me and disappears in an instant. It was completely silent the entire time.
The speed it maneuvered at & the complete silence of it was so creepy. It was not a jet, or a drone or a helicopter.
I don’t know what it was but I know what I saw and I will never forget it.

My family and some friends used to vacation at Litchfield Beach in SC. One night out on the balcony out over the ocean we watched a series of lights way out clearly above the horizon appear and disappear off and on for over 30 mins…anywhere for 3 to 6, orangish and mostly stationary…ie not moving up the coast. Clustering, separating, same color and not blinking, falling, etc. They would just appear, disappear, reappear, etc. No clouds on a clear night. It was around 10:30pm.
Wasn’t a plane, helicopters, flares, etc. it was really weird.
ETA this was before anyone had any serious drones.

I remember a radio show host telling the story about a blinking red light that kept following him on LA-1 down to Fourchon. He said he noticed the radio station started to fade out when the light disappeared. He said this freaked him out as he could see that it wasn’t a boat in the bayou or something around that would cause it.
That was until he realized that the FM stereo light was the blinking red light and the station was just getting interference.

Starlink satellites
The one time I had ever seen a "star" behave in such a way, it did an abrupt right angle turn from the direction it had been slowly moving, and zipped the frick away. I don't think Starlink has that kind of mobility.

The only thing that comes to mind is driving across the Causeway one time in 2008, half of the sky lit up in blue for about two seconds, and then everything went dark again. It was very strange.

Yes, twice. The 2nd encounter dropped from the stars and flew over or very near the insulated, metal building we ran into/were staying in. The noise was deafening and I’ll never be able to explain it. Middle of nowhere, extremely remote area 1-2 am.

No but 2 years ago I saw a group of 20ish drones (big ones…like motorcycle size) hovering over Manchac near Azalea Lakes.
10ish at night.
They moved in unison. They returned every night for 4 or 5 nights in a row, then never came back.

I was standing in my backyard 7 years ago & 5 metallic balls flew over my head about 50 ft up. No sound at all. They were about the size of softballs & shimmered from the sunlight hitting them. They flew so slow I thought about running into the house to get my phone, but figured they would be gone when I came back out so I just stood there & stared as they went right over me & flew off into the distance.
I walked to my front yard to see if any of my neighbors had seen it as well but noone else was outside. I've tried searching the internet many times for a logical explanation, but still can't explain it to this day.

I was cutting grass in my backyard, and it was in the middle of the day. I stopped for a minute to take a break and I looked above me in a clear blue sky and it was hard to tell but about 150, 200 feet above me was a silver thing that looked like it was built out of rectangles with some angled faces on it, roughly about 1 foot square. I thought it was a kids stray balloon but the shape was weird and it hung there motionless, no sound. I watched it for probably a minute just sit there and then I ran out of explanations in my head, so I ran in the house to grab my binoculars to get a better look. I knew exactly where they were and it wasn't far to go so it was about 10 seconds, tops. And yep it was gone when I got back outside. I scanned all around and didn't see it. 20ish years later it still makes me contemplate WTF that was. I think it was some kind of observation drone from the way it looked and acted.

I’m pretty sure I saw a DarkStar test flight at night in 2022.
It was the fastest thing I’ve ever seen moving through the sky.

We saw one at night in Joshua Tree National Park. Turned out it was a twinkling star but it was so dark our eyes played tricked on us.

I think I have. But I don’t tell many people the story because no one would believe it anyway. And on top of that, I’m not even sure what it was. But definitely wasn’t a plane.
This happened when I was about 14, so around ’92.
I was riding home with my dad after helping him work. It was around noon, the sun was high, and the sky was completely clear. I was tired, leaning my head against the truck door, kind of half asleep and staring up when a reflection caught my eye way up in the sky.
It was clearly some kind of metallic object. The sun was hitting it just right and reflecting off of it. It wasn’t a plane, I’m sure of that, because it wasn’t moving at all. It was just sitting there.
As we kept driving, I watched it for a couple of minutes, waiting to see what it would do. Then it finally started to move, but not side to side. It looked like it went straight backward, away from me. Within about five seconds, it got smaller and smaller until it disappeared. Still don’t know wtf that was because it disappeared way too fast. I regret to this day not getting my dad’s attention to show him that thing. Who knows, but I am certain it was absolutely not a plane and it was absolutely metallic.
