In about three hours, every cop in the state will begin looking for you

Not every person, just cops. They will start by interrogating all of your friends, family, and coworkers. They will attempt to trace your cellphone location. They will shut down all of your banking and assets. Roads will be blocked, checkpoints will be setup on most highways. You will be killed on sight.

Are only the police in the state in which I reside looking for me? Or in the state that I’m currently in? Because I’m in Hawaii right now, so the Louisiana cops would be looking for a while before they found me.
