Heck, many of the big fast food chains already have mobile order options.

-Minimum wage jobs gone(a) x current government assisted living(b) + more dependents (c) minus SSworlforce(d) and healthcare allowing us to live forever +30

-a x b + (c -d) + 30 = IDK need mathematician for clarification. Just know this does not work over the long haul.

I'm confident that before too long that will mean more accurate orders, faster / easier ordering, and somewhat lower cost--win-win-win for the consumer. There may be a few bumps along the way, but bring it on.

As it is now, I don't go to fast food restaurants too often, but when I do and I have the option of an ordering kiosk, I choose that pretty much every time. They only thing that dissuades me is that most of them have touch-screens, and I question the hygiene of those who touched the screen before me.

Great! It’ll probably will curb some of the violence in these fast food restaurants where a lot of these savages hang.

This is being done because of labor shortages according to Wendy’s.

Also because you don’t pay AI an hourly wage.

you also don’t get shitty employees with a horrible work ethic that are prone to absenteeism, tardiness, or trying to beat the shite out of a customer for “disrespeckin me”.

AI will improve some aspects of customer service but the potential negative toll it will take in the workforce is frightening.

For the last 2 years I have pretty much done online ordering from my phone and the restaurant app. My only interaction at the speaker is “I have an online order for Tarps,” and I pull up to the window. Sometimes I will skip the speaker and do curbside and don’t even go to the speaker.

McDonald’s did screw me over on Monday at the speaker, I placed my order online, and had to use the speaker since it was late. Those fools had me waiting almost 45 minutes at the speaker, I eventually drove to the window, and got service finally. She said she didn’t hear anyone at the speaker. They told me that they would be with me shortly, but forgot about me and the other cars that were waiting.

I felt like complaining, but there were too many online question and answer forms to fill out. When I complained about the breakfast portion sizes at CFA, there were less items to fill out and they were prompt with a response. They even sent me CFA coupons.

At Chick-fil-a, I order online, and they bring the food directly to my table, or I simply tell them my name at the drive through, and they hand me the food at the window. It removes a lot of the negative aspects of ordering fast food.

Well we have already got order by cell phone at McDonald’s….you just select the items you want as you enter the parking lot then pick your order up at the drive through window. There’s really no need to say anything.

A female voice? Will that even be legal in 3 years?
