In 2018, there were more than 10 million cases of active TB which resulted in 1.5 million deaths. This makes it the number one cause of death from an infectious disease.
This is with a viable vaccine, and 90% of children being vaccinated for TB. Why weren’t we wearing masks and social distancing for TB, which is transmitted through the air? Just curious as to why we decided to treat Covid-19 differently then more deadly diseases with effective vaccinations.

Not suggesting it’s a hoax, as I had covid. Trying to determine why it’s being treated as a world killer.

Statistically highly improbable for the worldwide casualty number in a year to be exactly 1.5 million.

The obvious answer is less than 9,000 US cases in a year. There are plenty of comparable arguments, TB isn't one of them.

What’s your point? Does it invalidate the question if it was 1,498,567?

Hey kids, if you collect Logical Fallacies, this is a classic. It's called a "red herring," which is to say, injecting a true but irrelevant fact into a debate.

Yes, asking a question about a highly infectious disease that affects the lungs and is transmitted through the air is a “red herring”.

You don't control the people if you don't keep them scared and looking to you for help.

So brown and black lives only matter here?

I had no idea TB was still so widespread

It's 2020 people don't die.

We all know that things like Covid give your otherwise unfulfilling life purpose.

Wait, now the left is worried about statistics?
