You get a discount if you have a hipster beard.

The plus is some of these beers are strong. You can pay $4-5 a pint and drink 7 and get a buzz or pay $6-7 a pint and your pretty loaded after 5.
Uhh... For $6.47 at Valero on Bluebonnet and Burbank I can get a 16 oz pint of New Amsterdam vodka. It's sad that I know this price.

Regardless, for a libertarian, you're pretty liberal with your spending habits.

At Cowboys Stadium a piss draft beer is $8.50, then the sista serving you will look at you like "ain't you gonna tip me that extra $1.50".

My personal opinion is that inflation is rising rapidly. I’m noticing in many areas. The cost of resources is definitely on the rise.

I get the red arse when a domestic draft is $5 at a restaurant and rarely go back.
Give me $2 PBR with a slice of lime and all is good.

Parish is overpriced, overhyped shite. Head on over to Pogies for a 4 dollar beer or to Bayou Teche Taproom for a 4 dollar pint

First of all, don't be callin' here like you some straight up "G", 'cause I'll cut your balls off and hand 'em to you, partner. I had to warn you too many times about my money, Smokey. You see, it's the principle of the whole thing. There's principalities in this.

I am so tired of Ferrari’s being priced in the 100s of thousands of dollars. It’s a racket. Aren’t we all entitled to reasonably priced special beer and special cars?

I hated working for LSU catering but that price is from long ago

It's worse when a restaurant doesn't have beer prices listed and you have to find out when your check comes that your pint of Envie cost $8.
It's criminal.
It's criminal.

That exactly what happened to me at Walk-On’s in laffayette couple weeks ago.
8.65 to be exact.
Girl asked me would you like another? I said sure but not for 9 bucks I don’t.
And for all you smart asses I travel for work and have good expense account, so it’s not like I have to personally pay for it.
I’ve just gotten more frugal and cost conscious as I’ve gotten older.

it has really curbed my restaurant beer drinking (I'm too old for many bar nights...much less days).
I thought I was ordering a $4 pint of 5% ABV beer the other day during what should have been happy hour--nope $8. I was reading the half-pint price. wtf?? This was just a casual place in Chattanooga.
also, you seldom get a proper 16 ounces (an honest pint), so with each pint at a restaurant or bar, you're basically getting the equivalent of a 12oz bottle or can from the store (or less than 1/5 of a growler).
I just stocked up on Creature Comforts pils and Bell's Two Hearted on sale for under $1.50 per 12oz. I have a really hard time paying 5X that out.
It's not like food at a restaurant, where someone is gathering many ingredients and putting labor and skill into it. You frickers can't even pour a draught properly--the one task.
That said, when I'm in MT, it's beer heaven. There are so many good local and other microbrews/craft beers, and almost every restaurant and bar has a long happy hour (as long as 3-7pm) where a good pint is $2.50-$3 (including freaking expensive shite like Sculpin, in some places). And a lot of places have late-night happy hour from 10pm on.
One of my favorite places has 64oz growlers of their own good beer for $8. I've bought a growler there and decided to stay and they don't care if you just drink it at the bar or table (maybe not straight from the growler, but i've thought about it).

I'm with you. $9 for a pint of local pale ale is too damn high.
