I'd rather spend more on good beer than less on shitty beer. The same principles apply when I make any purchase.

I love good beer.
I hate getting hosed.

The fact some of you seem happy about paying that much for a draft beer is odd to me.
Really is.

How can a Parrish envie cost 9 bucks in Lafayette?
It’s made right around the corner.

Doesn't matter how close. Fricking LA distribution laws. Goes from brewery then to warehouse then to the bar/restaurant. If I'm out and about I find you can buy really good APAs or single IPAs for $5-6.

I don’t mind admitting that I dislike beer.

A Corona or Pacifico with Mexican food or a Stella if there are no hard liquor options and that’s about it.

At the Beer Garden place downtown.

Met a friend of mine downtown the other day. He was drinking a draft beer from there. The cup was definitely <16oz. I asked him about it he said the servings are now smaller and the prices are higher.

Craft beer doesn't move the needle anymore.

Not sure if it’s been said but beerwould be a lot cheaper if breweries would be able to sell directly to pubs instead of going through a distributor. There a bill that has been written for this to happen, contact your local state rep. shite bombs like Mochler and Southern Eagle are destroying the beer game for this consumer.

What about cocktail prices? Sazerac, Sidecars and Old Fashioneds are going for $12-$15 a drink. 3-5 cocktails between 2 people and some appetizers - easily $125 or more

I'm tired more of places considering Yuengling a premium domestic level beer. It's a good cheap beer its not premium cost.
