Same thing you do in BR when there is no game in town…find a place to drink.

Potato salad at Sweet Peppers. Ridiculous.

Starkville is a college town, in the summer time when the students are gone it is dead.

"Dom Top w/ BWC in town for a few days looking for friends to ParTy."
The capital T is important to attract the most fun friends.
He said Starkville, not College Station.

I think starkesville is unofficially everyone’s favorite college town. No one will admit it, but it’s perfect. Nice southern town with places to eat and drink. Pretty girls with wholesome country backgrounds working at every eatery. Just a good place.

There is a cool prohibition style speakeasy cocktail bar behind Restaurant Tyler downtown called The Guest Room. Harvey's is the classic steak place that is good. L'uva is a nice wine bar with descent food in the Cotton District. Don't expect to find a place with food at the level we are used to in South Louisiana and you won't be disappointed.

Dave’s dark horse is a legit dive bar.

Drive up to Tupelo... much better town. Go to the Neon Pig. Their burger was voted best in the country a couple times.

Go to the Burger King in the 2 story log cabin?

Tupelo is an hour north. Visit Elvis’ birthplace.

Go eat at Petty’s BBQ. When I am in Starkville I eat every meal there. It’s the closest as I can get to home cooking. Excellent fried catfish and huhpuppies. They have three or four pits right in front by the road. You will like it.

Where is mercerbears? We need a classic post about Starkville like he does with Oxford.
