What happens if you move to Denver and within a week you get robbed?

I currently live one block from the beach for about the same as it would cost me to freeze my dick off in Denver.

I was recently in Denver too, its probably the most overrated city in the country at the moment.

Austin can give Denver a run for their money in that category.

What's the allure of Denver?

I get the skiing, mountains and nature, but the city itself is nothing special.

I don't think it's even rated in the top 5 in the state as far as best places to live.

I was just using Denver as a point of reference that I've seen with my own eyes. Give me a cabin by a lake somewhere in the Mid Atlantic, personally.

I'm with you bro. Except I think that about the whole state. I was born and raised in Louisiana but it is a shite hole. I can't wait to get out of here.

I agree. My company has an office located there and I've spent probably 6 months in Denver. The scenery is nice but the city is meh.

I think I counted 12 cranes in the skyline.

Seattle has averaged about 60 tower cranes over the past two years...about double any other US city. Downtown development is off the charts.

Moved here from BR two years...have never looked back.

Was a fabulous city in the days of my youth, loved it and never, ever felt unsafe and as a public school kid we played in some pretty dicey places, during the 70s. Now, not enough gold in Fort Knox and if I never lay eyes upon her again, that is okay.

I can still imagine her appeal but her pluses and minuses are neck and neck and that assumes the latter hasn't already overtaken the former.

Am proud she is the place of my birth and youth but now as an elder she breaks my heart.

If it wasn't for work, I'd be gone. This state has few redeeming qualities at this point.

You came here in 2016? You have no frickin clue.

Just leave. No need to grandstand, and i doubt anyone will notice you are gone, save for one less whiny voice.
