If they are so poor, how can they afford a cell phone? Something just doesn't add up.
They have cell phones given to them by the government. Seriously, it's cell phones given to them by the government with 300-600 mins per month and unlimited free text.

So they get free phones yet this dude is bitching someone may have to rent a locker to put said free phones in?

Sorry I don't feel sympathetic.

He brings up good points, but the whole premise of his bullshite was basically, if this Alton guy was a good dude and wasn't doing anything illegal he would have been arrested for being black.

That is a bunch of fricking bullshite.

1. Single mothers are not raising their kids. They use them to get federal assistance. Then their daughters have babies and it is basically kids raising kids that are raising kids. Most sit on the porch starting around 2 pm smoking weed or hooked on other drugs doing nothing all day. Their kids are not children to them they are a govt pay check.

2. Drug trade is strong and I bet these single mothers have more cash in their pocket than people who work for a living. The mother is never around until Brpd makes an arrest then the mamma all of a sudden shows up. The shootings from drug dealers trying to rip off customers starts around 8 pm Friday and rolls through Sunday evening. Sat night is the worst time for shootings.

3. I ran into a lot of potential tenants who have a section 8 voucher. They move their kids in the duplex while they live elsewhere. Basically the kids cause trouble, deal drugs, and live by themselves on the tax payer. If you try to evict them going through the govt is a long process. I seen landlords evict tenants and they will come back that night and see the former tenants trashing their place. I did see in one case a a young African American jump on the roof butt naked swinging his woo hoo all over the place. I have also seen one person rent a place on section 8 and 4 families move in.

All of your post is spot on. Great post, especially on points 1 and 2. Someone should publish this shite in the newspaper.

Btw, did I say great post?

I am white lawyer of privilege, and friends with Judges, DA's, law enforcement, spooks, and agencies u don'e even know exist and u sir, are 100% correct. I remember walking out of a city court a decade ago and saying "frick we have brought back debtor's prisons" and watching people with minor violations like driving without a drivers or hunting license on them, littering, improper lane violations, simple domestic dispute, not assault etc. All shite I am immune too like most middle class and above and getting ridiculous fines, $ 500-700 bucks with interested and court cost and all agreeing to pay to avoid jail time, even though it would be huge effort to pay this for most of them.

I know many of the judges and they are friends of mine and they tell me of enormous pressure from city etc to bring in revenue. These courts are simply centers of revenue for most places.

Last time I was robbed and they caught the guy, he was fined 1500 bucks. What harm was done to the city? How about he just pay back the 400 worth of shite he stole. They had little interest in that, and I was never given anything but satisfaction of him getting caught. But since he was released I am sure he want right back robbing people so he could sell the stolen shite to pay his fine. In a way he was stealing for the government.

and it goes on and on.

So... with blacks knowing that breaking the law means jail and/or fines (just like has been done for hundreds of years)... they keep breaking the law.

What does that tell you? They don't give a frick about the white man's law.

I'd guess DWIs, speeding tickets, and MIPs are the big money makers. But yeah, it is getting to a point where a lot of crimes are resolved via probation and fines and the money supports the whole structure - courts, DAs, probation agents, etc.

If they ever legalize or greatly reduce fines for marijuana (ala N.O.), they'll be looking even harder to replace that money. If they taxed it, it would be more income for the general fund but I'm not sure how much would find it's way to the Criminal Justice system.

What happens when St.George leaves.

Not much, BREC the Library, the Sheriff, sewer, and CATS would not see a difference.

And there would be plenty enough revenue to fund the police and fire depts. and other services.

St. George doesn't dominate the parish economically.

Do you suggest that if they get caught, they just give the stolen merchandise back.

The 'my bad' sentence.

None of this is actually new. It's been going on probably since people have been on the earth. And it's not really racial.

In many situations throughout history where two cultures share the same location, there is often one which, usually by an earlier development of technology or weapons or methods becomes the dominant culture. And another which, pretty much by definition becomes the non dominant culture.

Think:

Romans to Britons, Gauls and Germans (and a ton of others).

Persians to Greeks, Egyptians, Babylonians, etc.

Egyptians to their ancient neighbors.

The dominant culture always believes that the non dominant culture is benefiting unfairly from the dominant culture's providing things like roads, plumbing, etc. etc. The non dominant culture always believes that the dominant culture is oppressing them, trying to get cheap labor, applying civil and criminal laws unfairly, etc. etc.

And there will always will be some on each side which are utterly unable to view matters from the other side's perspective even a little.

Probably will always be that way.

This is pretty standard though. I live in Arlington County, VA, one of the top five most wealthy counties in the entire US. They do it here too.

You are rapidly becoming one of my favorite posters.

You have been very open and engaging from the outset. More refreshing is your honesty, and willingness to challenge sacred cows in your own (ethnic) community.

There are little things I could disagree with in your OP, but I agree with so much more of it that I will not.

You have improved the quality of discourse on this website, and I thank you for it.
