Maybe cuz the river was higher when Barry started, then it was when the storm in 2016 hit

I can’t Bilj. This is fricking fake news at its finest and they need to be exposed for the liars they are.

Let’s not forget they predicted thunderstorms all day today and we got none. They suck.

I am pretty sure the rivers are not as high now as they were before 2016. It’s been real dry around BR the last 2 weeks

The river forecast went from 20' to 17' in one update. Its fear mongering backed by Walmart

Now there is a conspiracy theory. WalMart is pay weather people and the media types to push this storm to boost sales.

There's more factors than that. One of them is the water shed will come from a larger area. There's also the physics of storm surge. There's a chance it won't be as bad as the models are predicting, but it's not pseudoscience.

The weather?

Yea, they are wrong often. But that’s because the weather is fricking hard to predict.

People like you make me sad for society.

No such thing anymore. So many people cry wolf for so many things now everything is real and "the boy cried wolf" all at the same time.

Actually lower on the upper Amite, higher on the lower Amite because the storm surge had already started backing up the lower Amite starting yesterday morning.

One big difference is in 2016 there was no water pushing up from the Gulf and mucking up the works.

Whatever man, I’m just putting 2 and 2 together and forming my own opinion. You should try it some time.

The rain on this storm is concentrated in one side, if this was a well developed storm, we’d already be seeing effects. Just wait

Son,

It’s Friday night. Get you a lubricant, turn on a pornography, and enjoy the storm.
