It's all downhill from here though.

This is why I was so good at finals in college.

Its a Limitless pill.

And I think my entire generation will develop brain tumors or something from it.

Prepare yourself for what I've always called "adderrall sleep". You will have been up for 30 hours. You'll lie in bed, but sleep won't come. So you'll lie completely still in a catatonic like state for six hours or so. You will dream while being 110% aware of your surroundings.

After a few weeks you get used to it and your body adjusts to the meds.

Its really not.

Highly addictive is opiates and stuff like that. It might be somewhat addictive and definitely causes dependence after long usage, but its not something you take a couple days in a row and are addicted to it.

People can take oxy a few days in a row and never be able to stop again.

That said, the shite is terrible for you.

I recently got prescribed and my best advice is, don't take it every single day. Only take it when you need it. I went through a bout with depression when I got on it for about 3 months where I couldn't go without it and it definitely will give you some mood swings down the road. When you feel stressed, take a breather and blow some steam. Other than that it's a great life enhancer. If you do any physical activity, take it when you don't feel like going. If you have trouble getting up in the morning, take it about an hour before you get up for the day and it'll be even more of a game changer. The thing about eating, it will take you about 2 months to adjust to the appetite thing but for those 2 months, I would advise to eat before you take it.

Good luck and don't overdo it. I am prescribed 2, 20 mg IR a day and maybe take a 1/2 of a 20 a day now because that's all I really need.

Your first week will be the best week of your life. Weeks 2-Infinity, you're fricked.

Quick trigger by the doc. Have you ever considered trying harder and maybe making a few lifestyle changes with diet, habits, etc. instead of being medicated? The whole fricking world seems to rely on meds as opposed to dealing with non life threatening shite naturally.

I've been working from home and using Lent as a motivation to address the above... I'd be damn if the aderall is not a qick fix though. A work buddy gave me one a few months ago and I'd be damn if it wasn't the most productive day all year but it scared the crap out of me and hadn't pursued aquiring more of that magic pill...

Nah... Just cardiomegaly, aneurysms, pulmonary hypertension, exponentially increases risk of heart attacks and strokes.

I was prescribed Focalin and at first I thought it did nothing. My dosage was upped and now if I allow myself to concentrate on a project it seems to kick in and I get tons of work done.

And complained about lack of focus and follow through so he put me on 20mg of Adderall XR per day. Took one this morning at 6am and I feel like the most effective human in the world. If this is how it will be from here on out this is a total game changer for me. Any other adults been prescribed this and what have your experiences been?

I'm with you on that. And there are things that are good for you that will give you energy, stamina, and maybe focus.

I'm about to be 56,so ADHD wasn't a thing when I grew up.

I've taken an Adderral.A big pink one.Very strong Speed.I don't like speed.

I would think that once you get used to going about your day with "limitless" style focus,it would be hard to do without.

To me,there lies the problem.

I did some re-programming of my Brain in the 1980's with LSD,Extasy, and Cocaine.

Best of luck to you.
