I really think some mdma, cocaine, and an OT 8 would work wonders for me right about now

This should have never happened. Following a bunch of grown kids throwing leather around isnt something to grab much of your time

It sounds like depression. Look I never knew my loss of interest was that except the last 8 yrs I never wanted to do anything. Decided to talk to someone and Holy shite 3-4 wks on the meds later and it's like I'm the energizer bunny. Now I found a good routine so about to get off.

You've probably just reached the point in life where you've realized things you thought were important aren't or were things other people only thought were. Probably your body telling you to start growing in new directions.

100% this. Will suck at first if you arent interested but you will eventually start to gain some drive and motivation from it

Probably right as well.

The older you get, the more you see reality and less of the curtain. See sports.

But I do think he’s depressed a bit.

This helps. Get a trainer if you need. Start running. Set goals. 5k, 10k, half marathon.

Sure. May even be a healthy depression. A signal that things aren't working and to take action.

I’m surprised more people haven’t mentioned getting your testosterone checked. Those are most certainly symptoms of low T. That my not be it very well could be and it’s easy to check.

I used to be an up early on Saturday during football season tailgating and going to the LSU game.. Now I'd honestly rather go play golf in the morning with my daughter go home throw something on the pit and chill at the house...

Still love doing this.. any chance I can cook I will..

Well yeah.. that's just growing up and realizing that paying for overpriced drinks in a nasty nightclub or bar can be left to the single people...

This sounds more like depression honestly..

I know as we grow older and more mature the things that mean the most to us are family.. but becoming a total recluse isn't healthy either

I'm 44 btw..

Check your Testosterone levels. Maybe it's lower than you think and would affect some of what you are describing. Just a thought. Saw other things that were posted as well.

Don’t have much to add regarding this but I hope you find your path sooner than later.

But honestly, this might be a good question to pose to your wife - the one who knows you best would/could probably lend you the best advice.
