Can't you just put it in the bin and check it after it goes through? I feel like you could easily claim they took something and get them to check the cameras.

Nothing says, "You might want to search me for drugs" like having a marijuana decorated wallet chain.

So how is storing a Walker in your carryon going to help?

Maybe it's Chuck Norris, in "Walker, Tejas Ranger"!

They steal from cluttered/concealed places.

It sounds counterintuitive, but you put your wallet, phone, AirPods, etc. in a bin all by themselves ... right out in the open where everything is visible. And you watch it.

Laptop/shoes/belt in a 2nd bin. 3rd if necessary.

Carry-on/backpack as per usual.

It may seem like a PITA, but it's not much extra effort and your stuff doesn't get stolen.

I’m n my weekly travels, 90% of the time TSA doesn’t touch your stuff. They stand there and make sure you stay with you luggage and push it through. Your normally standing on the other side waiting for it to come out. Unless your bag gets pulled and then searched, but your standing right there. Not sure how this happened.

Lol, you can’t have shite in your pockets. They pulled me aside once and yelled at me for having shite in my pockets. I emptied out my pockets and it was a ball of lint they were freaking out about.

I have found that TSAs at different airports vary. This took place in Miami. I've been through Miami but forget the TSA line. LAX is a damn mess and I can see many opportunities for TSA to steal your stuff. Surprisingly MSY is pretty orderly and so is ATL despite being very busy.

My carryon/travel bookbag has a zipper pocket facing my back and before I do security I always put the wallet, passport, etc. (and whatever non-electronic in my pockets) in that zipper pocket.

This is the correct way to do it along with TSA Pre-Check for major airports.

Went to NOLA a couple weeks back and I'm the a'hole who holds up the line on purpose.I'll wait until almost all of the bins are through the xray machine before dropping mine back on.

TSA douche asks me to hurry. I tell said TSA douche "when you quit stealing shite from customers, I'll hurry" and kept waiting I keep an eye on all my shite 100% of the time at the airport b/c of jackoffs like that thief.
