Odd future is pretty fricking massive worldwide. As is Macklemore

Macklemore is one of a kind and would never sell out to anyone, just like Dr. Pepper.

Not gonna lie...... I had to Google this shite. Mainly just to see if she was hot. I could give a shite about fricking hiphop rap soap opera crap.

Insane. Let the girl sing/rap her music. Isn't it racist to just assume rap is for black voices?

Brah, Macklemore had several of the biggest songs of last year (Thrift Shop), as well as this year (that song about his gay uncle). Also was nominated for 7 Grammys and won 4 of them. Also had some of the biggest performances at awards shows (like the one where all those gay couples got married).
I'm not saying that IA isn't huge, but you almost can't argue that Macklemore isn't as big or possibly even bigger.

FWIW, I think she is. I know the cool thing is to say she's not or that she looks like a dude and all that, but I think she's pretty sexy.

her fricking nick young is a bigger issue with me fricking her than her looking like a dude

She's taken hip-hop's sounds, but hasn't given back to the culture in any meaningful way when many white rappers have done the opposite. Macklemore has showed support for Ferguson protesters. Action Bronson passed judgment on the Eric Garner ruling, calling it "disgusting."
This line right here proves the subtle racism black people have about their own race without realizing it. You can not have other opinions and be black. You cant even not have opinions. There is one collective "black opinion" and if you dont have it you are the enemy. To be black is to be angry about Ferguson. Thats it. Understand the facts and come up with a rational thought? Not good for the black community, therefor frick you. Dont have a public opinion at all because its not a great career move for a young emerging artist? Not good for the black community therefor frick you.
ETA: also somehow "hip hop" and black mean the same thing now.

It's articles like that that reinforce my believe that, generally speaking, black people as a race are currently by and far the most racist race in America today. And it's not even close.
Sounds like confirmation bias to me. You do realize the person who wrote the article is white? The overwhelming majority of hip hop artists have not said something about IA. Probably the same percentage who will have something negative to say about anyone and anything. Haters gonna hate.
