I never said that.

You’re really reaching to make a point here. “That’s the way I see it” does not equate to me thinking black folks should also think like me.

My belief is influenced by already having this same discussion with my black friends & family. Who share that same belief.

Agree to disagree.

Also, FYI, not all plantations had slaves.

I wonder if the mob justice people will even care to make the distinction.

The sentence before that you claimed that "Getting married at a plantation for them would be the same as getting married at a concentration camp as a Jew."

That is your view projected onto black people. It is standard practice for the woke types, like those who have issues with plantation weddings, to be offended on behalf of black people. It's tiresome to see white saviors, time and time again, virtue signal their bullshite and pat themselves on the back for it.

What about the black women I know that planned their weddings at some of these places themselves? What does this make them?

Well they have accomplished the metaphysically impossible....by going on the plantation they have gone off the plantation.

I would never have never considered having my wedding at a plantation. I don't care to spend any of my time at a place I would have been enslaved at 200 years ago.

But if other choose to that is their business, doesn't bother me at all.
