In all seriousness, I hate the pronoun shite, but if you don't know that the pronouns for a male are "he" and "him" you are not in fact a pretty smart guy.

why the frick would i need to clarify that and why wouldnt i just be called my name?

i know what pronoun would normally be used but are these people wanting clarify how you should refer to them when speaking to other people or to their face?

because i was under the impression on this pronoun BS that they were wanting to be referred to that at all times.

I was thinking thinking I would probably comply. My name is not that common outside of the Bawmuda Triangle so it might even help some Indian person get my pronouns right.

I did blow off gender identity training, though. Just never took it. I get enough relevant info here.

I just wouldn't do it, and if they were willing to fire me over something like that than it's probably for the best that I find something else anyway.

so in all seriousness... I am a straight white male...wtf pronoun am I? and what does that even mean? I feel I'm a pretty smart guy but half these pronouns don't make sense to me when used in a sentence, the grammar is all off.

As far as I know, it’s related to the tranny agenda but is also used by the various other freaks that need to be different for self validation.

Do Not Comply.

As long as people stand up for themselves, companies won't "require" it. It's because people fold so quickly that the requirement comes - they know they can do it. They rely on the weak folding to pressure those who would be more resistant in the first place. Snowball effect.

People who don't agree and still comply right away as to not hurt someone's feelings, are the problem.

Or maybe they are just trying to avoid an expensive/time consuming lawsuit from some overly litigious type and this was the simplest, least expensive way to do that.

Maybe they already got hit with a lawsuit and this is their answer.

It's a stupid charade but maybe it's smarter to include pronouns in emails than waste hundreds of man hours in sensitivity seminars every time someone gets offended by a work email using the wrong lingo in a company of thousands

Inch ---> Mile

Giving in to the stupid charade is what gives it power in the first place.

I'll try to help in case you are being serious.

Say you work at a company of 1700 people and you dont know everyone personally. Now say someone is named Shannon Jones. They would put Shannon Jones
He/Him or She/Her

Then if you are talking with your supervisor and they say "have you talked to Shannon about the project?" you could say "yeah I sent her an email with the specs."

In practicality though it is mostly just used by trannies because they want to be something they arent

Another part of modern life that contributes to it is everyone walking on tightropes because they are afraid to accidentally offend anyone

You probably assume her, or ask specifically if it's a guy or girl.

If it's a dude Shannon and you assumed - then they are probably used to sometimes being assumed to be a woman. It's a neutral name but still a generally female name. Neutral names have that issue, and generally those folks get it.

If it's a girl, then you assumed correctly and everything is normal.

I agree. But some people act like offending someone, even if it isn't on purpose, is the worst thing you can do.

Mine "highy encourages" the practice but I refuse to even entertain the notion.

I accidentally referred to a female employee as he in an email exchange because of her first name. She just corrected me and I said "oops, my bad". Wasn't a big deal.

the only people that would actually do this are 1)utterly fricking stupid 2)rich already and don't need money 3)in a line of work that they are so in demand that going a few months without a job isn't really a big deal

No rational thinking person needing to support a spouse and children would quit over something so fricking stupid.
