I can tell you no....this happened to me except the little fricker had three others punks with him. Had the gun in my ribs and got my wallet..They didn't want the POS car I was driving. It didn't hit me until a couple of minutes later..

Except there are numerous cases where people have successfully defended themselves in such situations. You greatly overestimate the ability of conmon criminals, they don't have the reaction time you imagine.

If family is in immediate and impending danger then yes. If it’s just them stealing shite, they can take it.

Those that are down voting this obviously have never had any type of training. I would rather a gun from close distance then someone with a knife in close distance.

A friend at work did about 5 years ago. Pulled up at his house and was unlocking the door and a guy walks up from behind with a gun and demands money.
Buddy said “frick you” and the guy shot his wife (went in and out through her cheek) and he stole their money anyway.
I always said I’d fight back until I heard that story. I hardly ever have cash. I’d probabaly just hand over my wallet and call to cancel my cards a few mins later.

Might be debatable but I'll take my pistol over a knife every time.

I know an older couple who both carry 2 wallets - one for the potential mugger and their real one. He's originally from New Orleans and I thought it was a pretty clever idea. They even have some of those fake credit cards in the fake one so it looks legit in the moment.

ou look around, and not a single other person is around. The guy looks like someone you could handle in a fight,
My adrenaline and hot headiness would probably kick in and cause me to fight back. But i would also give him everything i had first. In my mind if i hand him my phone, wallet, keys and watch...hes going to have one hand full of stuff and make it easier for me to grab his wrist thats holding the gun

If he has a knife he better be fast - cause I’m hauling arse. Hell have to run me down to get my wallet.

I do something similar in bad areas
Some bills and a credit card in one pocket and my wallet in another
You hand a guy some bills and a credit card and turn that pocket inside out doing it, odds are he accepts that’s all you got

If he looks like someone I could handle in a fight, then he's most likely Asian, which means he's a ninja. So no, I would not fight back. If he wants my $3 in cash, he can have it.

I grew up up in louisiana. I'm usually carrying myself, so yeah.

If he has the angle on me he can have the Rolex, wallet and whatever cash I have. Whatever he wants, isn’t worth my life and god willing the many more years I have on this earth with my family and friends enjoying a pretty good life. However if he has a knife or takes his eyes off me when I drop the watch or phone and opportunity presents itself I’m taking it. I have thought a lot lately about this kind of situation and killing someone like this with my bare hands. I think it would be a complete release for me to only with my hands end a scum bag like this life. Not sure if I would follow through with it, but have always been one to go towards the problem not away from it.

Do I believe he will shoot me regardless? That is the issue.... gun or no gun, if I believe I’m about to get shot I fight
