BR is segregated. Private school people barely know any Public school kids, and vice versa. Maybe more interracial dating would ease tension. Look at Austin. NYC.

I'd say Kip Holden is the best mayor BR has ever had. He has done a pretty good job trying to revitalize the city. As much as you can I guess. I think something like Super Country Fest has been a relatively big deal for the city. People left BR for Memorial Day weekend with nothing to bring in people so it was a slow weekend for businesses, etc.. So that, live after 5, etc. That all livens up the city a little more, but again, you have to get to the root of the problems and thats not something you can just jump on.

i seriously havent been back to BR in a while, is it getting worse, better?

Step1: Build Inner Loop complete with a widened Huey P. Long bridge and new south bridge.
Step2: Turn Airline into an express tollroad
Step3: Build a west bank expressway on the Port Allen side
Step4: Build any outer bypass that starts on the west side of Lafayette, utilizes the 190 corridor then heads north to utilize the Audubon bridge, and connects with I-10 at the La and Ms state lines.
Step5: Legalize drugs and prostitution
Step6: Charge politicians double for their drugs and hookers.
