HS you miss graduation...big whoop.
College is only a "big deal" to the sheep who waste 4 years of their life and $200k on a worthless piece of paper. Total and complete scam and most don't understand or comprehend till it's too late due to low IQ and brainwashing. They come out of the liberal brainwashing scam that is college socialist and Anti-God as well.

Not really, I didn't care about any of the senior events. I just went along with them because my friends forced me.

Overrated.

Like waking up to find out your parents are dead or Your city was destroyed by a storm you deal with it life goes on so you dont sit through a silly program but the odds are you will never have that group together again ever. That will be sad for jaxon bryden & Jayden.
I will guess the universities are gonna take a huge hit this year money is gonna be tough gap years will happen but enrollment will be down like crazy. I think it will be very good kids are spending time alone creative discovering things about themselves they didn’t know before. Not forced into a mold.

Just post your senior HS or college portrait on Facebook to make them feel better about you having a normal graduation but not them.

Its neither. May be an unpopular opinion but I worked with a few people who's kids had to go back to college after graduating because they got worthless degrees and think they know it all. Most parents wont admit it to their children because they love them.

That is true. I also know a few people like that. But he made a blanket statement about how college in general is worthless. College is an investment in yourself. A smart investment for some people and a dumb investment for others.

Personally it was much more satisfying when I graduated from college with a job that could easily support me financially vs a high school diploma that left me with little job opportunities and no trade skills.

I mean you don't find any of this excessive?

Huge accomplishment? No, a graduate degree is an accomplishment.

My daughter is a high school Sr. and this very much sucks for her. I have no idea how they will handle graduation if they even have anything. I think she is more aggravated about not having a prom.

One little thing we are doing to help life her spirits is when it gets to the last 10 days of school, we are going to give her a special little gift each day of items she will need for her college dorm room.

Why are you trying to diminish what is considered a major achievement for many? Some people have more struggles and boulders in their paths than others

My son is graduating high school. No word yet on if his school will have the actual ceremony. I feel so badly for this generation.... born in the shadow of 9/11, in elementary during the '08 Recession and now this. These are gonna be some cynical and jaded mf'ers.

ETA: and Katrina in ‘05 (we were living in Alabama at that time, so not personal for my kid). No offense.
