I don’t think that’s far off. It’s been several years since we “cut the cord”, like five or so years I think. But our bill was approaching something similar if I remember right. And if it started raining any harder than a light drizzle, forget about watching TV.

Yeah after the promotional contract ended with regular cable years ago, my bill kept going up every month until it was like $180 or some ridiculous number

So glad that everyone "cut the cord" so instead of them paying $89.99 per month, they are now paying only $82.99 per month.
We've come full circle.

Meh saints will be out of it this year
Maybe I’ll bump it up to $400 if I’m bored

I’ve gotten pretty good at stringing together free trials during football season.
The trick is setting reminders on my phone so I don’t forget to cancel them.
The only downside? I now have a collection of dozens of email accounts.

Stop watching TV. Your life will be so much better and fulfilling. There’s a reason why they called it the “boob tube” and it has nothing to do with female anatomy.

My current Directv bill is $234.42 monthly.

Do yourself a favor and get either Hulu Live or YouTube TV. I personally have Hulu Live and have all the called I use to get on DirecTV, but for less than half the price.

That's a pretty good discount. When it runs out, chat w customer service and they will give you another discount. Dont take first offer. I got $15 or $20 off for next 6 months (no contract). I will pause subscription again after football season.

Good grief. Id just pay for cable at this point. Cut the cord in 2009 and never looked back.
You cant split the cost of cable. You can split the cost of YTTV very easily with other households.

I can’t get fast enough internet service where I live to cut the cord and stream or I would. I’m capped at 50 mbps.
Well actually I can, but it would cost me nearly $10K in infrastructure improvements to get it. Not worth it to me.

I can log on YT TV from my house, lakehouse, laptop, office, a hotel, bnb, etc.
80 dollars for that is a steal.

You should look into T-Mobile home internet. That’s what have. It’s $50 per month. I can stream live TV while my wife watches a movie on Netflix and my daughter is on FaceTime, no problem. I work from home a lot and can do video Teams calls, etc either way no issues.
