Northeast corner.
This. On at least 100 acres. With a creek and ponds. 1/4 mile gravel road over a cattle gap to the house. 4-5 all business dogs to greet / surround your vehicle.

Ocean Springs. Has a nice charm to it honestly and some good restaurants. We go twice a year and honestly, I really like it there.

Oxford. Lived there for 4 years while my wife got her doctorate.

We plan to retire there after our kids are grown.

The one positive about Mississippi is value for money. My brother moved to Meridian about 10 years ago and picked up a 4k sq ft house with a a pool and a tennis court for about 300k. It's a nice neighborhood near the country club. Houses were so cheap back then they were selling for 75k to 100k for moderately decent homes. At least you can have a nice house to relax and enjoy because not much to do elsewhere but at least Meridian's downtown has a few nice restaurants and feels like somewhat of a city. All I got.

No where. It’s 1 step above a 3rd world country.

Very very very underrated part of the state.

For the life of me I cannot explain why there is no explosion of development and entertainment around pickwick lake and up and down the waterway.

I’m drawing up some plans for some possible retirement business ideas somewhere along the waterway.

North Mississippi is pretty nice, and much cleaner than Louisiana
