Adam Sandler? We must be seeing something very different
He does not come off that way at all to me

He seems like a regular guy who just wanted to shy away from the lime light to me

Clarification, I don't know anything about the guy personally, I'm talking about his characters. Just not funny to me any more.

Well he stopped making funny movies and started making grown ups. Those movies aren’t funny at all, but it doesn’t take away from all the hilarious movies he made.

I saw him do it on his Netflix special back whenever. But to do it at 30 Rock is a special thing and it has to be respected. It really was something. I teared up.

Sad to think of how much potential future comedy and laughs we lost when farley passed.

I like Adam Sandler. Maybe not every single movie is funny, but he has made many that were. I like that he doesn't give a crap and does what he enjoys doing in his own way. He seems to genuinely have fun with other actors when they make these silly movies. He doesn't cave into what Hollywood and other people want. Its all about enjoying yourself having fun and getting creative.
I can respect that.
I watched Billy Madison last week, still makes me laugh

Sandler gets dumped on because he's an immensely talented dude who basically mailed in the last 15 years of his career to do shitty movies in cool locations with his friends.

Sounds like professional jealousy to me .

I'm not jealous in the slightest, it's a sweet gig. It's just understandable why people get annoyed with Sandler.

The space pants segment aired after Farley died right?

People that don’t appreciate Chris make me:

Thanks for posting.
Farley was one of my all time favorites. I'm in my 40's and my friends and I still use one liners from Farley to this day when joking around.
My name is Rick and I cannot tell you how many times over the years I've heard people say to me "Oh Richard!". Makes me smile every single time.

I clicked over to check, and landed on the "clothes have holes" skit.
Honestly the worst three minutes of TV "comedy" I've endured in three decades. I cannot believe anyone thought that was funny.

Farley was hilarious! TY for the unedited link.

Adam Sandler's opening monologue was pretty funny. He sang a song about being fired from SNL and Chris Rock came on to also sing about being fired from SNL.
