If you had to choose, which one would you restore? '67 Mustang Coupe or Fastback?

Definitely fastback, but not in an Eleanor style. That's played out.

Fastback all day every day.
1. Overrated AF
2. Shouldn’t be added to a coupe.

Yeah, I see so many on the road that it makes me sick.

Fastback.
Neighbor put one together for his son, a 65 model. Painted it in the Black/gold colors, found an engine from a 92 model I think. Probably spent 30K to do the restore.
Son drive it a few times and blew the engine. He has since bought two engines from a 65 model and is rebuilding it.

Neither. The 2005 Mercedes Benz E55 AMG is what you should be driving.

Neither is my style, but Fastback would be my choice.

Fastbacks look better. As far as mustangs go.

I had a 67 convertible in high school. The next year Gone in 60 seconds came out. Gave me a nice boost in asking price after I sold it.
To be honest that 289 was not that quick.
Also had front drum brakes, so when it was raining I would have to either stop fully then turn or drive into a curb in the turn back up and then go.
Also I had the EXACT same hubcaps as the green one in the OP. Always keep two in the trunk because NOLA streets would make them pop off. Sometimes you could retrieve it before it was ran over.
I do miss that car. It was fun. I had a CD player in the dash and a bazooka tube in the trunk. I thought I was the shite. Lol

Coupe, and only because my dad and I were restoring one when I was in middle school/early high school. It was supposed to be my first car.
In hindsight, it's probably a good thing we never finished it, because 16 year old me would have done dumbshit in that car. But it would have been a cooler ride than anyone else had at my high school.
