I had dinner with Joe Moglia, when he was still CEO of TD Ameritrade. He is the current Chairman of the Board for TD and the current head coach of the Coastal Carolina football team.
We didn't talk business, just told jokes and drank scotch.
I'd probably do something similar if given another chance. They aren't going to teach you much in the span of a meal, so I'd rather make them remember me and like me. Joe stopped by to wish us well on our last day of work, which we were told was never done before for interns. He couldn't stay long, because he was on his way to be on CNBC, again.

I have a friend that is a "retired" Fortune 500 CEO and had a driver for 26 years, who was no shite like Kato, if he was by himself, and a time or two with me, he would always grab a quick lunch usually at McDonald's, but almost always at some fast food joint
