If you had the ability to snap your fingers and be a top 5 talent in any sport….

Which sport would you chose?
Caveat…you are a 28 year old, regular dude with no recorded top-level sports accomplishments.
So essentially, in which sport could you even realistically even be able to convince people to let you prove your undeniable talent?
Ive been thinking about this for some reason and its actually kind of tricky.
Options ive considered.
1. Golf - only sport where no one has to agree to give you a chance. Q school, Korn Ferry…PGA…but would take a while
2. The quickest path would be to somehow get to a MLB tryout. 99mph filth with command is undeniable. As is .328 with power. However, im not sure you could even get invited to a tryout.
3. Walk on to college basketball team. Again though, is a coach even going to allow you to tryout if you have no history of playing basketball and are a 28 year old….idk…FIS consultant. Lol
What sport gives you the best chance to make it to the top level (again you are a mysterious, top 5 talent in the world)?

How would they know you were a top 5 talent? They just gonna take some random dudes word for it?
Again yesterday you were some random dude. Magic snap, now you are a top 5 talent. The world has no reason to know this or believe it.

Cycling. Especially at 28 I wouldn't have had any trouble convincing an average fan or person off the street I was a pro cyclist or even other cyclists well at least until they saw me ride.

If you were really a Top 5 talent, I agree. Spam everyone with your tape until they let you come and try out.

Easiest entrance is playing pro basketball in Europe and getting drafted in the NBA. Plus, you could probably still get one max contract for $200+ million.

Yes, you can get a tryout. It may not be a top tier league but if you’re top 5 talent in the world, the NBA will find you in any league.
