which would you choose, and why? This is for a family - not a bachelor situation.

I think the suburbs would basically be Round Rock/Pflugerville/Manor vs Gilbert/Chandler.

Do you like a lot of people, or a ton of people?

Do you like hot as frick, or hot as a mother fricker?

Do you like Mexican food, or...nevermind

Do you like pro sports, or UT?

Do you like being closer to LA, or closer to LA (get it)?

If you are from Louisiana (specifically NOLA), then go Austin.

Lived in Austin and only visited Phoenix, and I would pick Austin hands down. It’s quite crowded but it’s a good city.

Phoenix ... easy. Actually worked in and out of there back in the late 80s and loved the place. Scottsdale too.

Phoenix can be described visually and culturally in one word...beige.

Go to Austin man...food, music, wimminz, outdoor activities...Texas Hill Country is just better than the moonscape of Arizona.

Pheonix. Hate the heat but it's got mountains and you can escape to flagstaff for weekends.

Much, much closer to drive to LSU games in BR from Austin than from Phoenix, if that matters... and it should matter.

Austin. Especially Round Rock, since you listed that option.
Better schools. Better quality of life. Better food. Better entertainment for family, year round.
