1996 Chevy Blazer. I loved that thing, but by 2012 it was falling apart. Had to let it go. Actually, my uncle bought it to fix it up but it completely died like 6 months later, blew a head gasket.

Probably because when I was in my late teens I was in a band and we used that Blazer to haul our equipment in a u-haul. Driving from ville Platte to Lafayette and BR while the poor thing was running high arse RPMs the whole time... .

After my grandfather died, my dad gave me his 85 GMC Sierra Classic. Two tone brown. Had electric windows and locks. It wasn’t the prettiest on the road but it was a really nice truck.

My older brother’s, twice wrecked, 1979 Ford Explorer pickup...loved it! Dad got it fixed and repainted and I drove it for 2 1/2 years.

The only time we “stuck” it was trying to cross a flooded bottom on Racourcci Island. It was deep enough that water came over the hood on impact, and my co-pilot exited the passenger window with the wench hand controller to go engage the wench. ??

We made it across coming back. Momentum!

Top speed 74 mph going down hill and the wind at your back. Had buckshots on the back and would go in the mud though
