Morro Bay/San Luis Obispo or in the mountains between Saratoga, CA and Santa Cruz, like Scotts Valley.

I was thinking of a retirement location. Yes. Need a hurricane getaway, medical necessities I didn’t give much thought to, just a place to relax for my EOL. My wife looks at places to buy for our retirement. We prefer tropical climates vs. freezing arse cold environments.

San Diego, North Bama/Tenn area in mountains among my top choices. I'm so indecisive.

Santa Barbara, the American Rivera. I’m a fan of Spanish Revival architecture. Also great Mexican food.

Hmm. That’s a tough one. My first thought was a place with 10-20 aces near Carmel, CA.

If you have family and friends and want them to visit, it really helps to live near an airport. If you like to travel living in an easily accessible location makes that way more convenient.

with money, someplace in the Carolinas on the water, not to far from a town and a weekend trip away to the mountains. Again with money, the TN mountains. Working for a living someplace cheap, where I'm at now is not too bad.

The fame scents around there surely hit hard with the right wind. The crime rate is almost non-existent. You are 2000 feet above sea level. Friendly city too.

Why on earth would you leave Virginia? It’s such a beautiful place and safe.

It is a great town except for those scents for about two weeks in the fall.

Where it will not be real hot or real cold. If there is such a place

I honestly think we have the perfect weather here. Summers get hot but it’s bearable and there’s water everywhere. Winters are in the 40s-60s so it gets cool enough that people are ready for summer but you still get plenty of nice weather to enjoy being outside.
