Let me put it this way. Name the professional sport which requires the least amount of natural athleticism to be successful out of the following:

Basketball
Football
Baseball
Soccer
Hockey
Tennis
Golf

The correct answer is golf.

And they're still more athletic than 99% of the population. It's like saying someone is a dumbass because they went to Cal because other people go to Stanford

Golf or tennis. The amount of money they make is absolutely insane, even those who aren’t touching the major titles. Plus they can play year round.

Not the population I am familiar with. Not sure what kind of goofballs you hang out with....
If you consider golfers highly athletic you are hanging with some weak arse dudes.

How many guys you know that can swing a golf club 125+ mph and hit the dead middle of the ball every time? I don't know a single one.

Athleticism doesn't just equal throwing up 315 on bench press or running a 4.5 40, if that were the case Kevin Durant wouldn't be a good athlete.

Does hunting or fishing count?

If not, I’d say golf. Less wear and tear.

There are women golfers who can hit a golf ball much further than most NBA players. Does that make them more athletic?
Everybody knows it’s about tempo from practice with golf. Not natural athleticism.

This is just retarded.

No its not, being athletic helps tremendously which is why other professional athletes can pick the game up fairly quickly. Just go look at the golf board there's guys over there that play all the time and shoot like 100

Ha! Is it really retarded? No I think it’s just that you can’t counter that point and that’s the best comeback you can come up with.
Professional golf does not require someone to be a great athlete as do other sports.
It’s pretty simple but denial is a strong mental state.

It's so nonsensical I don't even know how to respond. Comparing men and women is dumb.

Is Bartolo Colon or certain offensive linemen or Bol Bol great athletes? Being a great athlete absolutely puts you ahead in any sport, including golf. That's why the top 2 golfers in the world are a college level baseball players and a 6'4 dude that is undoubtedly a great athlete.
