Not a huge baseball fan, but a starting pitcher is a nice gig.
This position isn’t for everyone. My son played and at times it was heart wrenching to watch. I honestly don’t know how kids do it.

Baseball for sure. It's the king of sports.

If you’re looking for the easiest job for the money an NFL punter would be hard to beat. Don’t have the pressure of the place kicker or the risk of injury the regular players have

Golf and it’s not even close

Nascar. Do they even practice?

You make a good point. Many very good golfers appear to have the athleticism of an average bowler.

The guy that just won the US Open played college basketball and the guy that won last week was 3 time all state in basketball. There's hardly any really good players now that aren't very good athletes. 20 years ago, sure, but not so much now.

Punter > backup qb. Those guys can play 15-20 years

Good call. Morestead with the Saints makes like $5 million per year.

Nah. I know what an athlete is and the majority of PGA golfers are definitely not great athletes as players in other professional sports are.

Less than 4 and he's the highest paid punter in the league. Teddy Bridgewater makes 7.25

I'm not disagreeing with that, but theres quite a few college level athletes out there, and not many fat slobs like you are insinuating

Yeah, golf, second would be tennis. I'm a team player but I like my future in my own hands.

He's kind of starting qb in waiting though it seems. Without looking I wonder what a career journeyman backup qb makes?
ETA - someone like a Chase Daniel that will never be a starter longterm
