I wasn't joking when I mentioned Rouses. It was a damn good king cake.

I had forgotten Paul's in picayune... They have a good reputation, especially for shipping. I never was crazy about theirs, but others loved them and I shipped a few way back when.

Any kind of King Cake, or only traditional cinnamon only?

If any type, the best I have ever had is Nannette Mayhall's from BR. She makes the cakes in a commercial kitchen attached to her house. Truly the most stunning King Cake I ever had. It was a strawberry cream cheese one, and I couldnt stop eating it. After that, I would say Randazzo's Camellia.

Hand down the best you'll ever eat. He's been a magician with donuts, po-boy bread, and King cakes.

You..must..try
