If you build an impossibly tall tower, all open from floor to ceiling… would you look up

Basically an open box of 4 straight walls that rise vertically an indefinite height?
My initial gut reaction says no. At some point the walls would appear to converge and block the sky.
However, after thinking about it more, since the curvature of earth doesn't create a vertical horizon, that law of perspective may not apply. If that's the case, then theoretically you would always see the sky.
