If you bought one of everything at Walmart how much do you think it would cost?

After some back of the napkin math I’ve come up with 9.4 million but I admit I could be off by a million or two.

What if you bought a gift card with a value of infinity?

are you using self-checkout?

Wouldn't this be different for every location?

Can I factor in coupons?

iirc they said around 11-13M (worked there several years ago) but depends on store and how well stocked (electronics in particular) they are. Probably closer to 15M today

Front of house or back of house? Some of them have some serious warehouse space in back others don’t.

Front end only. We never had anything stick around in the back too long. They've gotten scarily good at ordering from warehouse so most stores only keep what's going to sell within a week or so

I’d extreme coupon that shite and spend $14.

I have no guess here but one of my kids worked there one summer. He said that on a normal weekday over 100k items were scanned at the registers.
100k items per day going through the store. That's an incredible logistics system.

Just out of curiosity, what was your back of the napkin math?
Also, why do people only do math on the back of the napkin?
