If you are a freshman, why spend the money on a large University?

2020 is not going to give you a normal college experience.

Go to a cheap community college or online school

My wife started school at 34 years old. Did BRCC for a year and a half. Saved us money, got her prereq's out of the way, and gave her the confidence and experience she needed to start at LSU. Zero regrets.

Some families have lots of money, and specific universities are a dream and goal for students. You have generations attending the same school. It can be more than a financial situation.

Motherfricker, I was expecting a welding school joke when I saw you had replied. I am disappointed.

Agreed unless you already have so many credit hours.

All basic courses are the same at every university.

You are better off getting a CDL license anyways.

The courses are the same credit wise. The experiences are polar opposites.

Two years at a local community college sounds depressing.

Why? Just to save money or do you have other reasons?

I would sit out a year. Work / travel then start when these universities have gotten their shite together.

I would just get a full time job and put off college until things return to something close to normal. Why waste a whole year of college?

This is why all major universities are waiting for everyone to pay up tuition, then announce online only
