If the simulation theory is correct - then you are programmed to believe in your destiny

If you believe in nothing after death then you cease. Sucks for you.

If you have failed and deep down know you didn't accept salvation then you burn

If you trust in Jesus then you go to heaven

If you are a parasite and exist to siphon energy off of others then you are a virus. Cremation time.

What if beliefs matter? But it's the self examinations of our ACTUAL beliefs in which we fail?

Explain

I think we are programmed by the societal indoctrination that begins in childhood to believe in something greater after death.
Santa Claus, easter bunny et al- fictitious characters that bring good things for "good kids" snd bad things for bad kids.
Then it transfers to the teaching of religion in late childhood into adolescence. Good people go to heaven while bad ones go to hell.

I've always believed in something after death, although not 100% sure if it's Jesus or that we're in a simulation, or something else.

If we are in a simulation, one possibility is that I'll die in this life one day, then 'wake up' in my real life, then have the option whether to go into another simulation or end my 'real' life to find out if there really is a true afterlife.

What happens to you if you believe in the simulation theory?

Escape what? If the universe is a simulation, then you too are a simulation, thus incapable of living outside of simulation.

Is that escape a reward? Or a punishment?

Do we then escape into the world where our simulation overlords will then require that we worship them with additional adverse consequences for failing to abide by their worship bylaws?

That actually doesn't sound so bad. Especially when you see old people out there that are just ready to die. The 2nd one is the one that would be suck.

Let me ask you this one while you're high:

Since our bodies are essentially a bunch of subatomic particles, is it possible that, given enough time (trillions of years), those particles will re-arrange themselves in the same exact order they are in right now? What would that feel like?
