Not sure why. Scandinavian countries have super low capital gains and commercial taxes but have much higher taxes on the lower and middle classes.
Thats the part that is never talked about.

Single parent households are a huge contributor to the problem.
One segment of society seems to VALUE marriage and 2 parent households much more than another.
At least, 2 parents in the child’s life. Maybe not always together but both PRESENT in the child’s life.
