It is very true and applies to all types of cases, in fact there was a study showing how people who wear glasses to trial are much more likely to be acquitted. If something small like that can make a big difference imagine the difference a persons entire outfit can make. White privilege is knowing not to dress like shite when trying to convince people you aren't a criminal.

There is that Too but do you not think he knows he put his career on the line by kneeling last year --- and he never backed down?
I think he's really about his causes -- and i support him and those causes. He just needs to play better at his day job

To me, he didn't do anything. It was his right to do what he did, but in reality, he pissed a lot of people off and you can make the argument that a team doesn't want to deal with all the bullshite that comes with him.
Fair point and he didn't play well enough to make his off field distractions worth the investment. If he's had played like 2012/2013 Kaep, he'd have a job right now

He only started that when he got with his old lady.

Got to have his people looking nice for their next court date. I swear, these dumbasses in Baton Rouge are pitiful. Showing up to court in black girbaud's with a girbaud polo shirt on. And that's if they're actually dressed up. I know a court's decision shouldn't be based on dress code, but dress for the occasion and show the judge and yourself a little respect. You'd be shocked at how many men don't have suit or can't afford one or don't know how to tie a tie. And like you said, it does go a long way, especially since many of these guys don't have the resources to not get a court appointed attorney.

He needs to take his 4th string QB arse to some other country that he will feel proud to show respect for their flag. Might I suggest Syria...I almost positive they need his type of help there instead of this hell hole he has landed himself in.
Anything short of that and he is nothing but unemployed hypocrite.
PS. As if a a Felon need a suit..if he wasn't in this just for the attention he would get them some work boots, gloves and other PPE for the job they have a chance to land.

Gotta be exhausting to be filled with so much hate.
i know right...the guy had it all and just had to make a stand for a stupid cause. I hope losing his career was worth his protests.

Wow now the poor people can wear the suit once or twice before it getting dirty, then they can spend the money they don't have on dry cleaning

Wow, I can't believe there are grown adults that actually think this. It's such a childish and simplistic view. You can want your country to be better while still loving it and "respecting" it. Blind patriotism is a dangerous thing.

Just think, we wouldn't have Trump as president if all the people who bitched and moaned about this country dipped out between 2008 and 2016...

That's what I am saying.
Tebow even had some success in the NFL. What? His second year he lead the Broncos to the playoffs and I think they one at least one game in the playoffs, but his last two years in the NFL, he got cut before the season started.
