his main point was this

Publicity stunt

Gotta stay relevant
This is all about him, and not those people

your quotes kind of show that, as well

quote:

On the free-agent quarterback’s website, kaepernick7.com, there is a running log of the donations he’s made.

He has more than one motive here, he obviously is and wants to do some good, but the motive for that motive seems to be recognition and publicity

I don't care about his religion. There is nothing wrong with wanting to be a muslim, but its obvious he is using this to keep his name in the news.

So just to stay relevant an out of work person is willing to give his money away to impress the people who hate him? Man y'all are truly a special bunch.

I can see if he was picking up trash and reading to kids for photo ops, but he is giving away his money and may never play football again. Let that sink in.

yep, it'd be one thing if this were the 60s, talk about the ultimate rebel/racist without a clue, sports world version of Lenny Kravitz or Tom Petty, do something original already

Are you implying that any celebrity that publicizes their charitable work does it to get their name in the news? Couldn't possibly be to publicize the organizations that they are helping?

JJ Watt plays with retarded kids... I bet Kap doesn't do that bc he's a POS.

Think he got an interview with the Jets? They love shitty QBs.

Dunno I think they filled that spot by picking up Anthony Jennings as an unrestricted free agent.

I would rather go 0-16 than have this POS affiliated with the Saints.

The whole issue is with the new agencies, especially ESPN, and their constant message of division.

This is spot on. If espn decided to ignore it as something that really wasnt much (which it wasnt) and focus on showing the service men and women there it would have gone out of the news cycle.

I'm sure we can find you a safe space if the Saints were to sign Kaepernick
