Left handers have been over represented as Presidents of the USA. 7 out of 45 have been left handed, a much larger proportion compared to their numbers in the general population. James Garfield, Harry Truman, Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush (the elder one), Bill Clinton, and Barack Obama were all lefties.

In addition, President Thomas Jefferson wrote with his left after an injury and Woodrow Wilson wrote with his left after a stroke.

Lefties are thought to have a wider scope of thinking.

Put him down and make another one.

If at first you don't succeed...

Handwriting is really the only thing. Maybe a computer mouse when he flunks out of community college ball and is stuck selling insurance like the rest of us.

I’m actually more worried about your dumb arse naming that poor kid Jaxyn.

Being left handed is in no way a handicap and it’s fricking POS’s like you that make it any sort of an issue.

I am generation 3 of 4 of my family that is left handed and you sir are an idiot!

He'll be ostracized in Middle Eastern and African countries for eating with his "doo doo hand."

I have always heard that left-handed people were generally smarter than the rest of the population .. i am right-handed lol.. and i knew that about Clinton and Obama but was not aware of all the other left-handed Presidents we’ve had.. also, all three of the major candidates in the 1992 Presidential election (inc Ross Perot whom i voted for lol) were left-handed .

I'm a lefty, but right eye dominant. My transition from long gun to pistol is magnificent.

I’m left handed and the only thing being left handed means is he will have a stronger left than right hand. You learn to throw and catch . He will learn to do it with both hands. I can throw, catch and bat with either hand. I just throw harder with my left so when I played baseball I couldn’t play catcher not because I couldn’t catch it was because my right arm wasn’t as strong as my left to throw down to second base and catch someone stealing. I’m old and left handed catchers mits were rare back then.

I'm a lefty. The only disadvantage is writing, smearing ink and writing in 3 ring binders (the rings interfere with your hand placement). I would seriously make him write with his right hand. Everything else will be fine.

Oh yeah, shooting can be a problem.

Leave him be. If you start a kids life by forcing him to be right handed he’s going to be miserable. Dominance is encoded in the brain. You’re not going to train it out.

For his elite junior golf career, have him play right handed like Ben Hogan did.

He can win 20 majors before age 30.

Get his name on his first golf bag, and it should be a tour bag.

I am sure he will be able to hold the Bulls right pocket in Angola just fine.
