But see my edit to my post and it will show they are very ineffective. It's just to make people "feel" safe. When in reality. It doesn't do anything except cut down of the spread of large water droplets.
The bottom line is the virus is nowhere near as bad as we were initially told and there has to be a middle ground on how to fight it. Protect vulnerable people, practice social distance protocols, use good hygiene, etc. But the all or nothing narrative that has invaded the psyche of the public is crazy.

It seems that many of you can’t grasp the concept that masks are about minimizing risk to a certain degree. Nobody said that they completely stop the spread. They can lower the rate of spread if all parties are wearing them. These “gotcha” posts are so stupid.
